The role of a stock investing workgroup is to help you to make better decisions when it comes to investing your money. There are a lot of things that you have to know in order to be a successful investor and the chances that you are going to be able to learn it all yourself are pretty slim. This is why we set up these groups; they allow you to share knowledge with others so that you can all improve your investing skills together allowing you to increase the returns that you get.
Of course there would be little value to creating a workgroup in which nobody
had any real knowledge of the stock market and this is what makes working with us different than just starting your own group. We are able to provide a certain level of expertise.
More importantly we can provide the group with instruction so that they can learn to be good investors. Once this happens they will be able to do their research on their own and
share the information with the group so that you can all make good decisions about where you are going to put your money.
In fact that is the biggest benefit of stock investing workgroup; it reduces the amount of work that you have to do in researching the companies that you are going to invest in. There is a lot that you have to know before you decide to invest in a company and finding it all out can take a lot of time. This is why most people don't have a properly balanced portfolio; they don't have the time that is required to research the number of stocks that are necessary to do this properly. Therefore they tend to not have enough diversification which greatly increases their risks.
One of the challenges that exists when you are creating a stock investing workgroup is that everybody in the group has to have the same investment goals and the same level of risk tolerance. Otherwise the research that the rest of the group has done will not really be relevant to you. We try to ensure that everybody in the group has the same goals and risk tolerance. In any event the goal is to create portfolio that is well balanced which should be the goal of all investors anyway which means that it should appeal to the whole group.
